With Rapidform XOS, you can now process raw 3D scan data into high quality meshes and NURBS surface models in just a few minutes. Automated wizard based tools step you through the optimization of point clouds or meshes from any 3D scanner. Once the scan data is optimized, you can export high quality meshes. Or you can use XOS’s one button autosurfacing technology to make watertight NURBS surface models, which you can export as IGS or STP files.

XOR/Redesign

XOR makes editable CAD models from 3D scan data. Rapidform XOR/Redesign is the first software solution that allows users to go from 3D scan data to a fully parametric CAD model. While traditional 3D scan data processing software has focused solely on optimizing polygon mesh models or generating high quality NURBS surfaces from 3D scan data, the needs of those who require editable CAD solid/surface models from 3D scan data have been largely ignored. Rapidform XOR addresses the limitations of existing 3D scan data processing software by complementing its mesh modeling and NURBS surfacing capabilities with newly developed CAD modeling capabilities, providing users with the tools to go from 3D scan data to a parametric CAD model. Before the development of Rapidform XOR, those who wanted to make design modifications to their reverse engineered models in their CAD applications were forced to :

InspectWorks
InspectWorks™ is an Add-in for SolidWorks that enables quick, first-article inspection from 3D scan data right inside your native CAD environment.
InspectWorks is fast and easy to use, so you can check part quality right at your desk. You simply scan your part with a 3D scanner, import it into SolidWorks, and InspectWorks aligns the scan to your part, shows deviation by coloring the model, and instantly calculates all dimensions and tolerances defined on the part. Use it to quickly check a prototype, or figure out assembly fit problems — and then immediately update your design! Compare any SolidWorks design to any scanned physical part.
And because it’s built on the same industry-leading architecture as Rapidform XOV, InspectWorks is accurate, industry-tested, and fast. With InspectWorks, you get deviation color maps, dimensions and tolerance measurements on virtually any part in 10 minutes!
Rapidform Free Viewer
Rapidform Basis is a free viewer application for dense point cloud, polygon mesh, NURBS curve & surface data and inspection report. It is a convenient way for both rapidform2006 users and others to review data in any of the 40+ file formats that Rapidform can import natively. It offers the viewing, measurement and information reporting tools of rapidform2006. Using Rapidform Basis, individuals can share data throughout their organization, with the ability to view rapidform2006’s native format, .MDL, including all of the following data entities: Point cloud, polygon mesh, NURBS curves, NURBS surfaces, B-rep solids, notes, reference geometries, Scan-to-CAD comparison deviation plots, Scan-to-CAD sectional deviation plots, annotations, geometric tolerances, dimensions.
In addition to being able to import and view .MDL files, users can access industry standard and proprietary file formats, including:
