3D Printing

3D printing is a recent technology of fast manufacturing. Developed by the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Its allows to manufacture real pieces from digital data (CAD files) It slices it then it adds and solidifies material layers by layers to finally obtain a finished part.

The principle on which a 3D printer works is close to the principle of a 2D one: the used nozzles, which lay down glue, work in a similar way as office printers. It is the piling up of these lays of thickness which makes the volume.

Easy to use, affordable and compact enough to be placed in a desk office, 3D printers are used by designers, engineers and amateurs to develop concepts and design products, in order to speed the process and to launch the product. There are many applications: From architecture to design through industry. Thus, it is perfect for concept visualization, checking of the ergonomics, etc.

Applications of the Multiple Jets Modelling

New : systems of production 3-D ProJet™

The systems of production ProJet™ of 3D Systems manufactures ready-to-use models with precision and fidelity. It offers two ways to manufacture. Thanks to a high output and a big volume of production, with its functions of pilling up and of overlapping of parts, the system can work for hours without watching, for example during the night or the week end.

  • Production system 3D ProJet™ HD 3000 : Highly productive, the production system 3D ProJet™ HD 3000 is perfect for a large range of uses in prototyping, as the development and validation of concepts, the analysis of forms and assembling, models for modelling or casting, or direct founding for jewellery and other manufacturing of precision.
  • Production system 3D ProJet™ SD 3000 : The last printer, the production system 3D ProJet™ SD 3000, use the last technologie to ensure the manufacturing of high resolution models and prototypes in plastic, for the development and the validation of concepts, the analysis of forms and assembling, models for modelling and casting.
  • Production system 3D ProJet™ DP 3000 : The production system ProJet™ DP (Dental Professional) 3000 is thought up to constant and cheap manufacturing of precise wax-ups for dental laboratories.

The InVision® 3D printers allow to manufacture in-house, by a easy, fast and affordable way, parts prototypes and models, directly from 3D data.

  • InVision® HR 3D printer : A high resolution printer which produces in a repetitive ways models and master models for casting by lost wax, for jewellery and other small metal parts.
  • InVision® XT 3D printer : Fast and easy manufacturing of high resolution models and prototypes in plastic, for the development and the validation of concepts, the analysis of forms and assembling, models for modelling and casting.
  • InVision® LD 3D printer : A compact and affordable printer to make solid plastic parts for the communication of concepts.

V-Flash™ Office Modeler

With the V-Flash™ office printer, you obtain solid, lasting and detailed prototypes, with an excellent state of surface, directly in your office.

  • V-Flash™ FTI 230 modeler : The V-Flash™ office modeler make plastic model of high quality, thus avoiding time and cost linked to subcontracting.
